Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG)
($192M funding until 2020)
Launched in 2014 as a 6-year initiative, this training grant is a segment of the $194M/year Canada Job Grant initiative as part of Canada’s Economic Action Plan. The Canada-Ontario Job Grant was created to provide training to Canadian employees in order to improve their employ-ability and in-demand skill sets.
FedDev ON Training Productivity Initiative
($50K non-repayable)
Supports the adaptation of new technology, new processes or procedures. Will support the training to develop highly skilled personnel in any area that leads to innovation and assists with export expansion.
Sectoral Focus: Industry Funds
(up to 50% of the candidate’s wage over a 3-12 month period; grant funding)
Receive funding for any new position that will give a recent graduate valuable, relevant work experience in the post-secondary field.
CME SMART Advanced Technologies
for Global Growth ($20M allocated to a 3 year fund)
