On June 27, VOX ISM held its summer kick-off meeting at the Granite Club, Toronto. The staff meeting focused on to provide an update about new product releases, updated methodologies and the business strategy and plans for the next six months of 2019.
Ed Michitsch, General Manager of VOX ISM, began the meeting by providing the highlights of the first half of the year and telling the objectives for the second half of the year. He continued his presentation further by showcasing the VOX ISM’s new implementation team model.
Then our Solutions Expert, Mike Fontaine, gave a summary on VOX ISM’s business model and process, what we sell in 2019, and our demo process — followed by an introduction on VOX ISM’s new team – Business Development Coordination by Linda Heaton and Paul Latoza. Neetu Jain, VOX ISM’s Marketing Manager, gave an insight into the marketing numbers in the first half of the year and future marketing strategy.
Next, Andre Ouellette gave an update on VOX ISM’s customer profile. Followed by the Manufacturing Consultants – Bob Dzimbowski, Ishu Singh and Yazan Alamaireh, presentation on Dynamics 365 Business Central 2019 October Release. Mike Fontaine and Shubhang Vayeda gave an update on VOX ISM’s newly released Manufacturing App – what’s included in the app and the pricing model. Gord Olson, VOX ISM’s Financial Consultant, provided an update on Direction North America 2019. In May 2019, VOX ISM, as a team, attended Direction North America 2019 and together consisted of expertise in manufacturing, financial, sales and marketing, and leadership.
Jacob Steinfeld and Zeshan Raja, VOX ISM’s CRM experts, gave an update on Dynamics 365 pre-release notes. Patricia Cowman gave an update on professional consulting best practices followed by Trevor Reid, VOX ISM’s Senior Technology consultant, who presented communications standards in 2019. Vasusha Solanki and Kevin Li presented the results of the half-yearly staff survey.
Next, Ed recognized to the top billable consultants for the first half of the year. The Top Billable Consultant (for the first half of the year) was awarded to David Morales. The Rookie of the Year was awarded to Bob Dzimbowski, followed by a 1-hour break-out session, where the sales and marketing team and operations team examined their process workflow. Everyone took an active part in discussing the scope of the new products and technologies.
At the end of the staff meeting, Jacob Steinfeld shared the details about the upcoming business planning meeting, staff meetings and stat holidays.
Jim Heaton, President of VOX ISM, concluded the meeting by cheerfully saying thanks to everyone and for adding to the success of the company.

We closed the staff meeting with a cocktail party at the Granite Club. The party provided an excellent opportunity for everyone to connect. The VOX ISM Team and unique atmosphere made the day significant.
