“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.” – VOX ISM, Microsoft Triple Gold Partner, gathered as a team on September 6, 2019, at the Granite Club, Toronto to reflect on the company’s overall year-to-date performance and to officially kick off the Fall season. The meeting room was filled with VOX ISM Consultants working with the Sales and Marketing team.
The purpose of the meeting was not only to give everyone an update and to go deep dive into business planning but also a team-building and skills training exercise for VOX ISM consultants – a chance to interact and learn new tips and tricks from their own colleagues. There was a lot of interaction and a reasonable exchange of ideas in the room.
The meeting was spearheaded by Jim Heaton – President, and Ed Mitisch – General Manager. Jim kicked off the meeting by presenting the year-to-date performance numbers while Ed went into deep dive of discussing standardization, reporting/communication, and managed the team break out session.
“If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself” – Jim quoted -“As a virtual company, we have to make sure that everyone is on the same page with our goals and objectives and that all the moving parts are being communicated properly.” Jim added, “The real success is not just with talent but with working together as a team.”
