At Directions North America 2019 there have been many sessions regarding what’s new in the April release, What’s new in the app & the keynote speech. Clearly, there is some exciting news. In the keynote speech, they showed us that there were over 100 enhancements. Some of the more exciting are the performance improvements, expandable line subform pages, and enhanced administration.

Another new feature is the ‘Quick Entry’ that lets you focus on the most important fields for data entry.

The list goes on, enhancements to the development environment, self-help and support in the server.

These new features highlight why you want to be implemented with Dynamics 365 Business Central in the cloud, you get these enhancements without having to have your partner perform a traditional upgrade, that required a new install and data migration.  When your company comes up in the queue your live system can be updated around your data with the intelligent cloud wizard.

Microsoft has also mentioned many enhancements they are working on for the Oct release and have engaged partners including Vox ISM for input on what they should focus on.
