Recently I’ve been asked on several webinars what is Power BI. Power BI is an add-on to Microsoft Excel 2013 that includes Power Query, Power Pivot, Power View, and Power Map. These tools enable you to find and bring together data from a variety of sources and create powerful, interactive views and mashups in Excel.
Some of the most interesting are the three-dimensional, geospatial views (Power Map). Bing maps will automatically geocode your data and plot out on interactive maps, on timelines with slicers!
