Microsoft provides 3 different portal solutions:
- Customer Self-Service: your customers can log into their account and manage cases from the portal. Even submit a new case or edit existing one. They can even search for Knowledge-base articles based on keywords they have entered before they can even create a new case.
- Partner Engagement: You can help your business partner to use the partner portal to start capturing sales data. Allow your partners to submit and manage their opportunities with your internal staff.
- Employee Self-Service: Your internal staff can access employee self-service- ESS portal to share knowledge. Also submit and resolve internal trouble ticket.
- Custom Portal: Custom porta is fully customizable from scratch. You can create a Franchise Portal, an Agent Portal, and Citizens Portal etc.
